今年研讨会以三个阶段进行。在两段「回顾」中，同工们被引导省思这一年来，上帝如何透过侍奉塑造我们个人的生命，和教会如何将我们的信仰同心地实践出来。当中也有简短的时间，彼此交流个人侍奉心得。

潘牧师在第三个阶段中和大家分享：一、从圣经的牧养神学再思真理堂的使命、定位。二、在多元文化的社会中，如何以牧养人的需要，擬定事工的目标和方向。三、思考教会宝贵的信仰资产–圣乐、差传、社区 – 时，同时要积极进行传承的工作。因此，加强年青人选和栽培双语人才也是当务之急。

当潘牧师再次强调回到以牧养为根基，让我们想起保罗的叮咛：「因为，那已经立好的根基就是耶稣基督，此外没有人能立别的根基。」（林前三11）

The conference this year was divided into three segments. In the two segments of “reviewing the past”, co-workers were led to reflect on how God has shaped our lives through service and how we as a church have lived out our faith together in the past one year. There were also short periods of time where we could share about our experiences in service to each other.

In the third segment, Rev Phua shared with everyone on the following: 1) reconsidering the mission and identity of Chen Li church from the perspective of biblical pastoral theology; 2) how can we set the direction and goals of our ministry on the basis of serving the needs of others in this multicultural society; 3) as we consider the precious faith assets that our church has – sacred music, missions, community service—we should also proactively continue the process of passing on the baton to the younger generation. Hence, there is an urgent need to develop youth leaders and groom bilingual talents.

As Rev Phua emphasized once again on returning to the foundation of shepherding, it reminds us of Paul’s advice: “For no one can lay any foundation other than the one already laid, which is Jesus Christ.” (1 Corinthians 3:11)
